Obituary of Linda S. Sayers

Linda S. Sayers, age 71 of Port Jervis, NY passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at home. She was born on June 1, 1950 in Nyack, NY, the daughter of the late John W. Willson and Sue E. Pittman. Linda was an avid bingo fan and loved her casino trips. She is survived by her husband Robert R. Sayers, Jr. of Port Jervis, her daughter, Dianna Sayers and her fiancé Carl Katzenstein of Port Jervis, her adopted daughter Angie Kays, her husband William, and family of Port Jervis, her son, Robert Sayers, III of Port Jervis, two grandchildren; Marissa Jade Irizarry of Port Jervis and Gwen Sayers of Glendale, CA, two sisters; Joyce Brush of Lakeland, FL and Terry Bauder of Tavares, FL, special friends; Linda, Sherill, Peggy, Bonnie, Anna, and many more; many, many nieces and nephews; She is also survived by her special pets Spike and Tinker Bell. The Sayers family would like to extend a special thank you to Kiera Geraghty, United Hospice of Rockland County, NY, nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY and Bon Secours Community Hospital. Linda was predeceased by her sister Phyllis Fazzio her brother Fred Fazzio and her brother in law Richard A. Brush, Sr. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 5-7pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771.
