Olive and family, Shirl and I were very sorry to hear about Bob. He was good friend and in 1974 helped to talk me into going into the Air Force were I remained for 22 1/2 years. I still remeber, Bob, Eddie O'Donnell and myself eating Corn Beef Cabbage and having to many beers, was a long time ago and I don't remeber where we were, somewhere near Hawley.

Robert was one of the pillars for me growing up in the greatest neighborhood. He was working on the garden, tending the yard, he always took time to chat, and see what was going on, and how you doing.. Loved his sense of humor towards life. He will be missed. God Bless, Joe Moglia

On behalf of the members of the Pike Wayne Chapter 2259 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees, and on my own behalf, I wish to express our sincere sympathy and condolences to the family. He was a very special man, interesting and a faithful member of our chapter. Over the years we got to know him well and Olive too during our annual group lunches. He was there when I joined the group in 2004. He was very welcoming and a delightful person. Those of us who knew him, were very fond of him. He will be missed. Know that we keep him as part of the good memories in our lives.
