Obituary of Tracey Dawn Barnes Abers

Tracey Dawn Barnes Abers, age 69, formerly of Port Jervis, passed away on the afternoon of September 12, 2021 in Summerville, SC. She was born February 23, 1952 the daughter of Bennett H Barnes and Ellen C. McKeeby Barnes. Tracy was predeceased by her husband Donald Abers, her sister Jonnie A Woolsey, and her husband Albert Woolsey, her nephew Andrew Woolsey and her sister in law Jeannine Lincoln. Tracey was born and raised in Port Jervis, NY and was currently living in North Charleston, SC with her daughter Melody Reed. She Is also survived by her oldest daughter Melisa Branham, and her husband Edward Branham, her beloved grandchildren, Myra Branham and Ellyn Branham and her little "cuddle buddy" Benny the pug, her brother Guy Barnes and his wife Kathryn Barnes and their son Michael Barnes, her brother Donald Barnes and his wife Cindy and their son Dale Schmitt and his wife Lori, her niece Gina McCann and her husband Tom, and their children; Liam, Natasha, Bobby, Brittany, and Brad, her nephew Anthony Woolsey and his wife Denise and their son, AJ, her cousins Lynn Masanotti, Debbie Barnes and a several nieces and nephews. She was a very loving person who always had a great passion and love for everyone she cared for whether family or friend. She will be cremated and reunited with her husband Don. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Howells Cemetery, Howells, NY. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Charleston Animal Society or local Humane Society in her name.
