Gary,
I just saw this notice as I was looking for your address and phone. And such a sad note to connect with. I would see Craig now and then in Godeffroy and O'Dell's to say a passing hello. I hope he did not suffer. Warm and embracing thoughts to you and Sharon and to Judy, whom I did not know.

Craig came into our lives when he became friends with our son Chris in Elementary School. Not only to Chris, but to our daughter Kim & Ernie and I.
This is a tough loss for us, so many happy memories. Craig always made us laugh, my favorite memories are the years Craig went to Black Lake w/our family & friends. One day there was a big storm & Big Ern as he called Ernie was fishing alone & there was a very loud boom of thunder. Craig came running to our cabin to see if I was ok as he knew I would be worried. He was my hero that day. At night when we all sat around camp fire Craig would sit next to me & we had our own conversation going on, unaware there were others there. I could go on & on, so many memories.
Sincere condolences to Craig's family. Craig you are missed by many & there will always be a special place in my heart for you.
We love you Craig, Rest in Peace. ❤️

Craig was the kind of person who liked everybody. He always found a way to find the good part of a person. He also would never look down on anybody for any reason. One of my favorite teammates in high-school when we played football together. I will miss the late night "fishing" trips to Boemler pond. The world has lost one of the few truly good people it had. Love you and miss you Craig.

You were the big brother I was always missing in life. From when I was a little girl to when I had my own kids, you were always there- a phone call away. You always had my back and made sure everyone knew that. You then became my little boys uncle and best friend. You taught him so much of what I couldn’t and what having a true boy childhood was like. I could never thank you enough. Rest Easy, I know you’ll always be cleaning that shotgun for me.

I remember, fondly, the great childhood that we all shared together, growing up on Shinhollow, feeling so wild and free, always being watched over by one another's parents. I'm glad that so many of us got to share that portion of life with you. Rest easy, Craig. You will be missed.
