Obituary of Julius C. Leonard Sr.

Julius C. Leonard Sr. of Parksville died peacefully on May 26, 2023 at Catskill Regional.  He was 90. 

The son of the late Raymond & MaryEllen Leonard he was born on December 24, 1932 in Charlotte, NC.  

Julius affectionately known as Sarge, proudly served our Country with the US Marine Corps & the US Army during the Korean War.  His dedicated war time service would earn him a purple heart for his valor.

In addition to his parents Sarge was predeceased in life by his wife Doris, sons Daniel and Lawrence Leonard and daughter Cynthia Nay. 

He is survived by his daughter Tammy Santiago with her longtime companion Charles of Port Jervis, his son Julius C. Leonard Jr, and son Talmadge Leonard with his wife Bobbie Jo of Port Jervis.  He leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren to cherish his memory. 

As per his wishes services are private.  Cremation to be held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium.
