Every time I think about St Patrick's Day I will think of you. Tobey, yesterday was your birthday, March 16, in heaven. Now you are with our brother Carl, our Mom and Dad too. Now you 4 are in heaven with angels watching over you. Tobey, mom always said you were her pretty baby with red hair. I never thought that it would be the last time I would hear your voice on July 12th, 2023. Your passing away on July 13th and Carl passing, within three months of each other, was so hard. I know you are with our Mom and Dad. We will always miss you with all our love.
Love you always, your sister Marie Popstein Brozek

Tobey was a good friend and proud member of our VFW for the short time we have known each other. He was generous, honest and giving to a fault. I will miss him and his love of country, our US Navy and this community. May his soul be at peace and with those he loved in paradise.

We will miss you brother. You made us laugh.
With all fun times growing up. With you always joking around had a lot good memories as kids growing up as a family never a dull moment in our home.
You teased me terrible. I remember all the joking around when people would come on our porch you would ring the doorbell from inside the dining room before they ring the other doorbell.
Playing taps early morning on front porch on Johnson ave. Our poor neighbors but they were the best. Never a dull moment in our home. Singing Christmas carols at the piano. We had a lot of laughter in our home along with a lot of love too. I miss all the fun times growing up. We both loved playing piano and singing. I do miss those days.
Love you always
sister MARIE.

It was an honor to write a bit of Tobey's story, and to share a brief part of his life. He was kind, witty, caring, and funny, and he loved his home, community, grandchildren, and country. R.I.P. Tobey! Thank you for being our friend. Sharon & Stan Siegel

Toby was a westender, we stuck together all of us, from West end School, to being paper boys for the same Union gazette, members of the bluebird, drum and bugle corps, till that time around 1970 he went off to the Navy.
My condolences to his wife and all of his family.
I never knew Toby to consider any task undoable .
As we were in drum corp or other organization
Toby always had an idea to try to make things a little better one smart guy for sure.rest in peace Tobey

Toby lived a life of service to our community and our Country. A devoted veteran that took care of his brother veterans until even after his death. He loved his military time and stayed in touch with some of his comrades across the country. Tobey loved being home and communicating electronically when unable to do it personally. He lived his life "his way" and I admired that. Your wit and humor will be missed, my friend... REST in PEACE, Tob!
