Obituary of Patricia Caputo

Patricia "Patti" Caputo a lifelong resident of Port Jervis died on September 6, 2023 at home.  She was 65.  

The daughter of the late Carmen & Rose Caputo, she was born on January 4, 1958 in Port Jervis. 

Patti was a 1976 graduate of Port Jervis High School, it would be just the start of her formative education.  She would go on to earn her Associates Degree from Orange County Community College, moving onto the Corcoran School of Arts & Design and finishing with the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY.  

Patti was a very talented artist.  She enjoyed working in a variety of mediums, including charcoal, pastels, water colors and oils.  It was through her gift and appreciation of art that she enjoyed creating still life's and portraits.  Patti was a friendly face who greeted all with a smile while working for over ten years at Turkey Hill in Matamoras.  She was a longtime member of St. Mary's RC Church and the Mt. Carmel Society, having served as treasurer. 

Beloved sister of Kathleen Dunn with her husband Marvin of Reno, NV and Cynthia Scully of Bakersfield, CA.  She leaves behind her nieces, nephews aunts and cousins to cherish her memory. 

In addition to her parents Patti was predeceased in life by her brother in law James Scully.  

The family will receive guests on Saturday October 7th from 11 to 12:00 Noon at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis NY.  A service of reflection will begin at 12:00 Noon at the Funeral Home.
