Long ago in the South Bronx my family all knew Charlie T., a great guy and true family friend. My brother knew him through the Scouts and my father through the Knights of Columbus. I've known Charlie for sixty years from tubing down the Delaware together, searching for Orrie Hitt, talking about Canada and playing hockey on a frozen parking lot in Rockland, cookouts with his mom and dad at the house on Short St. in PJ. And so much more. He was always there. Now, a friend forever. Ray O'Brien

Chuck was my (#1, as he often reminded me) Uncle and Godfather. I have fond memories of swimming at his and my Aunt Jan's pool with Cousin Sheila when I was younger, and trying to steal the plastic hamburger from a very hamburger-obsessed Cookie, the dog. When I was a bit older, his cable de-scrambler taught me a lot about life (the cable law can't catch you now, Uncle Chuck!). He had a colorful personality, even more colorful jokes and anecdotes, was a good brother to my mom, and was quick to share his love with anyone who was family. Love you and miss you, #1 Uncle Chuck. I have many memories, as chuck (Casimir) was my brother. Through the years we were not able to spend a lot of time together, but always kept up a dialogue and cherished each other as brother and sister. I will miss him and our phone calls. RIP Kazio. I love you.
