Obituary of Beverly Stead Bailey

Beverly Stead Bailey age 82, of Middletown, NY passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021 in Port Jervis, NY. Beverly was the daughter of Alanson and Ethel Bogert Stead. She was born on July 23, 1939 in Tuxedo, NY. Beverly was a graduate of Suffern High School. She was a faithful member of The Grace Episcopal Church in Middletown, an active member of River Valley Chapter, #33, O.E.S. , and a member of her beloved Red Hat Society. Beverly is survived by her beloved husband Karol H. Bailey, at home. She is also survived by her son, Matthew Bailey and his wife Julianne, her granddaughters; Arianna and Kimberly Bailey, her daughter Sandra Tonjes, all of Wilmington, Delaware and her brother Roger Stead and his wife Carol of Indian Land, South Carolina. Visitation will be held 1-3 PM, Monday, October 18, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Eastern Star services will be held at 2 PM, Monday.
