I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Stan's passing. He really was an amazing and good person. Reminiscing a bit, I think of the wonderful summers at Williams Lake with the whole Ernenwein family. Uncle Stan was always doing something: "Uh-oh, he projecting - we better get out of here", as we used to say. He was great fun though - building tree houses, making docks, sailing his beloved sunfish, grilling up burgers, hooking up a rope swing, etc. Okay, maybe the rope swing is not a good example. He was so good natured. He always gave you a big hello. The only time that comes to my mind where he was angry was one morning at the cabin, after he laboriously scraped petrified cereal off the porch floor and then demanded that Aunt Connie "never buy Captain Crunch cereal ever again!". Good times. Rest in Peace Uncle Stan. You will be missed and definitely remembered. Not to worry, I'm sure he will have some projects for you in heaven.

As the only daughter, my Dad and I shared a special bond. He taught me to sail on Williams lake at a very young age. We shared a love for the outdoors and did lots of projects together. I will cherish the many hours that we spent this summer in my backyard chatting. He was my best buddy, a wonderful father-in-law for my husband Darren(RIP), loving Grandpa and GreatGrandpa I am grateful that I was blessed to be able to be with him when he needed me—he was always there when I needed him. You taught us well, Daddy—we will take good care of your kids, grands, and greatgrands along with the beloved animals. Rest easy, Daddy Love forever Ellen

To Mrs. Ernenwein, Robert, Ellen & Johnathan: Robert was my best friend growing up; Mr. Ernenwein's oldest son and I always felt loved and like family around Mr. Ernenwein, his wife, Ellen & John. I have never forgotten what a fun childhood I had with Robert and the kindness & gentleness of Mr. Ernenwein whenever I was over at their house. I send my sincere condolences to Robert and family.
