Obituary of Laura R. Wooster

Laura R. Wooster of Port Jervis died peacefully on April 16, 2024 with her family by her side.  She was  94. 

The daughter of the late Henry & Sophia Weiss, she was born on November 27, 1929 in Edenville, NY. 

Laura wore several hats in life but she enjoyed the most and retired from the Port Jervis Free Library as a Library Clerk.  

In addition to her parents Laura was predeceased in life by her husband Richard H. Wooster and brothers Milton & Herbert Weiss.  

Beloved mother of Judith Cramer her husband Allan, Patricia Ganz her husband David and Richard Wooster with his wife Julie.  Grandmother of George Cramer (Hannah), Aaron Cramer, Cheyenne Cramer and Harley Ganz (Angela).  Great grandmother of Logan, Curtis, Hailiegh, Savannah, Samuel, Carter and Hannah.  Dear sister of Irma Aschoff and Helen Boyd with her husband Harry.   Laura was an aunt and great aunt who will be missed. 

Visitation Saturday 4/20 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis, NY.  Funeral service 12:00PM at the Funeral Home, Rev. Diane Sommers officiating.  Burial to immediately follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Port Jervis.  

At Laura's request donations may be made to the Port Jervis Free Library in her memory.
