Marlene A. Allen age 68 of Port Jervis, NY, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis. She was born on February 17, 1953 in Spring Valley, NY, the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth DeGeorge Selvaggi. She was one of eight children. Marlene graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1971. That same year she met her husband Ronald and they were married on November 19, 1972. Marlene is survived by her husband Ronald at home, her daughters; Heather Allen, Holly Allen and her fiancé Italo Greco, and her son Philip Allen. She is also survived by the pride and joy of her life, her beloved grandchildren; Valentino, Evie, Philip and Ryleigh her sisters; Teresa Reiser and her husband John, Catherine Selvaggi, her brother, Pasquale Selvaggi and his wife Maryann, her sisters, Mary Pizzo and her husband Anthony, and Gloria Selvaggi and her husband Jim. Additionally she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Marlene was pre-deceased by her father, Michael in 1983, her mother, Elizabeth in 1996, her brother, Michael in 2007 and her oldest brother Peter, in 2014. Marlene retired as a floral clerk from Shop-Rite Food Store in Montague, New Jersey. She was a wonderful woman. Marlene was an active member of the Minisink Reformed Church in Montague, New Jersey. She had a true love for the Lord, her family, crafting and gardening. She was always giving and thinking of others. Many will miss her. She is now at home with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Memorial services will be held at the Minisink Reformed Church in Montague and will be announced at a later date by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home.
