Sean Michael St. Laurent, 46, of the town of Greenville in Port Jervis, entered into eternal rest on June 30,2024 after a brief illness. Sean was born on March 22, 1978 to Joseph "Neil" and Judith St. Laurent in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Sean graduated from Green Run High School in 1996. Sean was an avid bowler and coached bowling for The Special Olympics in Virginia. Sean was a Machinist who worked at the Port Jervis Machine Shop. In 2009, Sean met his life partner Margaret "Margie" Spiezio through the online game platform Pirates of the Burning Seas. Sean liked to spend his time playing his favorite game Star Wars the Old Republic, and he enjoyed going to the movies, his favorite movie being Jaws. Sean was a total film buff and extremely knowledgeable about movies and actors. Sean was a great History enthusiast. His family fought to be on his team when playing Trivia board games, so they would be on the "winning team." A Conservative Sean enjoyed politics, current issues and was not shy in discussing them at length. Sean loved all animals, especially his dogs, most definitely his best buddy Stuart.
Sean was predeceased by his father Joseph "Neil", his mother Judith, his nephew Christian, and grandparents.
He is survived by his life partner Margaret Spiezio, his sister Tammy Susko – her husband, Chris and their daughter, Megan, who he was so proud of; his sister, Patty Kimble - her husband, Mike and her sons, Thomas and Graidey; his Uncle Alan - his wife Shannon. Sean's Spiezio family Margie's, mother Dotty, brother Sal, -his wife Andrea, his son Jack and his fiance Justine, and his daughter Jenna and her boyfriend Nick.
Honoring Sean's generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation. Sean's organs and tissues will restore life’s promise to as many as 75 people.
Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means We'll miss you until we meet again.
A visitation will take place on Friday 7/5 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Knight - Auchmoody Funeral Home. The procession will form 12:00noon at the Funeral Home with final committal at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis.
