Obituary of JoAnn B Schields

JoAnn B. Schields, age 52 of Pine Bush, NY and formerly of Matamoras, PA, passed away suddenly, Friday, October 29, 2021 in Pine Bush, NY. She was born on June 25, 1969 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late Paul and Carol Weicker Schields. JoAnn proudly served our country with the US Army and the US Marine Corp. from 1997-2006. She graduated as a Molly Marine. She worked as a program analyst for Hudson Valley Health Care at Castle Point Veterans Hospital and Montrose VA Hospital. JoAnn was a US Life guard for the Marine Corp and an olympic rifle shooter. She was a member of the Tri-State Rod & Gun Club. JoAnn is survived by her daughter, BreAnna Schields of Pine Bush. Visitation will be held 10:30-11:30 AM, Monday, November 8, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow with military honors at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
