Obituary of Hazel Ann Lovelace Colon

Hazel Ann (Lovelace) Colon age 46, of Sparrowbush, NY passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. She was born on November 12, 1975 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Helen (Huson) Lovelace. She worked as a Department Manager at Wal-Mart in Westfall, PA. Hazel was a faithful member of the Eldred United Methodist Church in Eldred, NY. She also loved animals, volunteering and enjoyed sewing and crocheting with her business, That’s Sew Hazel. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. She is survived at home by her heartbroken husband, Raymond A. Colon and two young sons; Matteo A. Colon and Luke A. Colon; two sisters; Mary Jane Maynard of Port Jervis and Charlotte Sahley of Charleston, WV; her beloved dog Jayden and cat Rusty; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Hazel was predeceased by her brother Richard Lovelace. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 23, 2021 from 2-3pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM with Rev. Linda Bohs officiating.
