Obituary of James R. Russ

James R. Russ, age 71 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 13, 1949 in Lumberton, South Carolina, the son of the late Archie and Mini Bell Armstrong Russ. James worked as a laborer for Garland Harris Fence Co. in Rockland County, NY. He was formerly married to Nancy Parliament Russ. James is survived by his three sons; James Russ, Jr. of Middletown, NY, John Russ and his wife April of Port Jervis, Adam Russ and his wife Tiottia of Wurtsboro, NY, his daughter Nancy Russ and her companion Richie Terranova of Spring Valley, NY, his beloved grandchildren; Alexis, Adam, Jr., Tabitha, Dylan, John, Jr., Ashley and Annabelle, his five great grandchildren; Alexander, Esme, Ashton, Aaliyah and Sophie, several siblings and several nieces and nephews. James was pre-deceased by his son Charlie Russ. A Celebration of Life will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at James's home, 6 Delaware St., Port Jervis, NY. Interment will be private.
